Game Day Protocols
If you are the first game on any Saturday/Sunday, please be sure you give yourself time set up your field before kickoff. Please put out corner flags and be sure you have sand bags for the soccer goals. Last game, please return flags to the trailer, Soccer goals get put away against the fence and be sure all garbage is cleared from the fields.
Rosters/Passes
Be sure to have two copies of the rosters for the day, as well as the referee cash (exact change) in a sealed envelope or zip lock bag. All adults’ supervisors and trainers must have their passes ready to go at check-in. If you do not have an official card, you CANNOT be on the team sideline, you must be with the spectators. Coaches will present player passes to the ref as he/she reads down the roster.
Home vs Away games
If you are the away team, be sure to reach out to the home club coach to confirm game date/time/field, as well as jersey color. If you are the home team, you should receive an email from the away team and the ref confirming the same. If you do not hear from the ref by Friday of game week, please call LIJSL ref line 631-648-8877 on Friday between 12 noon and 10pm.

Per LIJSL, the sidelines will be setup the same way as the spring 21 season. Home club/parents on one side, away club/parents across. Parents cannot sit with the team and must be at least 10 feet off midfield and 10 feet of touchline.
